“Liberti” is a Latin word for “freedom,” and referred to freed slaves in the ancient Roman empire. Calling our church “liberti”- “freedom”- identifies us deeply with the DNA and history of our area. And it also names us as people who are experiencing the deepest longing of the human spirit: the liberation from sin and death that Christ provides.
Called and sent by God’s Spirit, liberti church seeks to live, speak, and serve as the very presence of Christ for the neighborhoods of Philadelphia's Main Line suburbs.
